Prerequisites

Course Content

    This course is for students who need to become familiar with the principles of data virtualization; to learn the skills necessary to implement data virtualization including data source introspection, views, procedures, publishing; and to understand governance topics such as query optimization, caching, security.

    Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the Cisco Information Server solution, its installation, and how to use the Studio product
  • Explain how to use data connection and transforms
  • Explain how to publish a resource as a database and as a web service that can support SOAP and WSDL
  • Explain the use of various procedures available in the Cisco Information Server
  • Describe the various adapter bundles that are available for the Cisco Information Server
  • Describe the platform experience of the Cisco Information Server including use of the Business directory and how to troubleshoot the solution
